I recently spoke with a rep from your office concerning the elevators in the 2001 Building, Santa Monica Blvd. I dont believe the concerns have been addressed.
A few things that I have observed:
1. The elevators stops on floors where called even when the elevator is full.
2. The service elevator is not marked and paramedics, delivery personnal and building staff are not able to recognize it.
3. The service elevator stops on every floor that it is called instead of going directly to floor of designation.
4. Elevators are slow to respond and hinder the flow of people from lobby to other areas of the building.
5. Elevators are not synchronized properly. Stops on floors where called even when another elevator got the pick up. ( I was going from 12th floor to lobby and stopped at floors 10, 9, 7, and 5 with noone waiting to board).
This is a growing concern considering that frequently these elevators are out of service for repair. It is an inconvenience for the visitors as well as the tenants and staff occupying the building.

I have left messages now for Gary Meyers with no return call, and I have expressed my concerns over the air conditioning and air flow problem in our suite for many months, with no resolution. I understand the air conditioning is still being shut off on the weekends (at least all day on Sunday and Sat. night...)and this suite does not even BEGIN to cool down until Wed afternoon. My staff is too hot, and this is cutting into productivity, not to mention that this is uncomfortable for a very high profile clientele. The 200 and 300 buildings have no problems with cooling for the entire week. Do not use the recent heat wave as any excuse, as this problem has been an issue for many months.
I am certainly willing to take this further and gather others in this building who are also affected by this problem. Held's lack of response in dealing with this issue is inexcusable, and I would appreciate a response about this matter today.
